Kuwait, Azerbaijan ink air service agreement
MOSCOW: Kuwait and Azerbaijan have signed a bilateral cooperative agreement in the field of air services. The deal was signed in Baku by Acting Director-General of the Kuwaiti Directorate General of Civil Aviation Yusuf Al-Fawzan and Azerbaijan Airlines Chairman Jahangir Askerov, Kuwaiti Charge d’Affaires in Azerbaijan Faisal Al-Mutairi said in a statement to KUNA yesterday. Al-Fawzan hailed this agreement as a watershed in cooperative relations between both nations, expecting it to pave the way for more developed ties in the realms of economy, farming, animal resources, investment and tourism. On his part, the Azerbaijan Airlines chairman voiced confidence that the bilateral agreement would contribute to the promotion of Azeri-Kuwaiti cooperation in economic, trade and tourist domains.
