Min­istry de­nies school vac­ci­na­tion in­fec­tions

KUWAIT: The Health Min­istry strongly de­nied that 20 high school girls were ad­mit­ted into the ICU af­ter be­ing vac­ci­nated against Diph­the­ria and Tetanus at their schools. The Min­istry ex­plained that upon WHO rec­om­men­da­tions, all grade 12 stu­dents have been vac­ci­nated for years now against those two dis­eases. The Min­istry also stressed that vac­ci­na­tions used in Kuwait and the sys­tem used in ap­ply­ing them are healthy and safe.
