TAALEB E-Square Program honors Zain
Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, was recognized by the TAALEB E-Square Program’s managing committee for the company’s long-term efforts and support to this unique educational initiative since its inception. The recognition came during the honoring ceremony held at the theater of the National Library of Kuwait.
The event witnessed the presence of the Undersecretary for Education Facilities and Planning at the Ministry of Education Dr Khalid Al-Rushaid, who presented the honoring token to Zain’s Corporate Communications and Relations Director Waleed Al Khashti. Zain prides itself for being one of the main supporters of this national and educational initiative that serves 577 schools across Kuwait.
The TAALEB E-Square Program - previously received Kuwait e-Award’s first place prize - provides an ideal educational e-gate solution, where more than 500,000 students, parents, and teachers are connected with each other from 577 schools in the country. The website allows parents to communicate with their children’s teachers and follow up on various student activities like homework, weekly plans, exam dates, student behavior, as well as class-related materials and aids.
Zain’s support to the TAALEB E-Square program springs from the company’s core Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility strategy.
