All procedures in place for parliament elections: MoH
All health precautions and measures have been completed in time for the parliamentary elections today, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced on Thursday. In a statement to the press, the MoH’s Undersecretary Dr Khaled AlSahlawi said that a higher health committee dealing with the elections will oversee 61 medical facilities in the nation’s five electoral constituencies. He noted that the ministry would also be providing five ambulances, besides 344 emergency units and 144 nurses, all of whom will be on duty during Election Day. On the precautions, the health official said that around 120 personnel will inspect food security and hygiene conditions in polling stations nationwide during through the day. Sahlawi urged citizens to dial the following hotline numbers, 112 or 132 in case of any health emergencies.
