Tawa­sul Tele­com meets in­dus­try lead­ers at Ca­pac­ity Europe 2016

The con­fer­ence pro­vided at­ten­dees with key in­sights that in­flu­ence busi­ness strat­egy. It also in­cluded sym­po­siums and lec­tures on how the mar­ket is shaped and what lies ahead for the car­rier in­dus­try and tech­nol­ogy as a whole.

Canon Cen­tral and North Africa (CCNA), cel­e­brated the achieve­ments of its part­ners in Africa by rec­og­niz­ing them at a glittering awards cer­e­mony on the con­clu­sion of its first An­nual Part­ner Con­fer­ence held at Ena­shipai, Lake Naivasha, Kenya.

The awards night saw over 100 Canon part­ners from 44 African coun­tries at­tend the func­tion. Eleven of them won awards in dif­fer­ent cat­e­gories in­clud­ing Me­dia Dif­fu­sion who won the Canon Pres­i­den­tial Award for over­all growth and per­for­mance. The award was re­ceived by Mo­hamed Mond­her Bouat­tour and Kaies Bouat­tour.

The evening also served as a plat­form to high­light CCNA’s achieve­ments in 2016 and to out­line the strate­gic growth pri­or­i­ties and op­por­tu­ni­ties in 2017. In the Africa re­gion, CCNA’s mis­sion is to work closely with its part­ners to be­come a true value-added sales and ser­vice com­pany and to achieve the No.1 po­si­tion in all mar­kets by sus­tain­ing mar­ket share growth and grow­ing the mar­ket size.

Ro­man Troedthandl, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of CCNA, said: “We ex­pect big op­por­tu­ni­ties in emerg­ing mar­kets like Africa where the GDP is ex­pected to grow by more than six per cent in the next decade - dou­ble than the rest of the world. Our part­ners on ground are part of that growth and have shown their com­mit­ment to the brand this year by out­per­form­ing their pre­vi­ous year’s achieve­ments. The awards evening was an op­por­tu­nity for us to ap­pre­ci­ate their ef­forts dur­ing 2016 in align­ing their mis­sion with that of Canon’s.

Fu­ture part­ner­ships too are a big part of CCNA’s plans in the re­gion.

Troedthandl added: “We be­lieve it is ad­vis­able for us to take ad­van­tage of strong part­ner­ships, wher­ever pos­si­ble, as tech­nolo­gies and mar­kets are mov­ing quickly for one or­ga­ni­za­tion to hold all the an­swers; strong and dif­fer­en­ti­at­ing part­ner­ships will be es­sen­tial, es­pe­cially when it comes to com­ple­ment­ing one an­other.”

Canon’s re­lent­less at­ten­tion to in­no­va­tion is one of the key rea­sons why it is the mar­ket leader. The com­pany con­tin­ues to of­fer what its cus­tomers de­mand and so has a fu­tur­is­tic vi­sion for the brand.

The an­nual con­fer­ence was also an oc­ca­sion where CCNA and its part­ners dis­cussed a new phase of con­tin­u­ous in­no­va­tion within the in­dus­try, which con­sti­tutes the com­pany’s vi­sion for the fu­ture and the di­rec­tion in which the in­dus­try at large is head­ing.
