Kuwaiti na­tion­als safe from OSU vi­o­lence: Em­bassy

WASHINGTON: Kuwait Em­bassy af­firmed that its na­tion­als in the United States are safe af­ter a man at­tacked peo­ple at Ohio State Univer­sity (OSU) ear­lier Mon­day. In a state­ment the em­bassy called on all Kuwaiti cit­i­zens or stu­dents liv­ing in the US to re­port on any even­tu­al­ity via the fol­low­ing phone lines: The em­bassy+IBk-s emer­gency phone num­ber: 262-0758 The emer­gency phone num­ber of the Cul­ture Of­fice: 364-2104. A man, iden­ti­fied as Ab­dul Razak Ali Ar­tan, 18, drove his car on an OSU side­walk, got out of it and at­tacked pedes­tri­ans with a knife+ADs-he was fa­tally shot by an off-duty po­lice of­fi­cer. +IBM —KUNA
