Bowair’s latest book reviews Amir’s speeches
Columnist and author Abdullah Abbas Bowair recently published his 11th book about the speeches of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The book consists of three chapters - the first includes the Amir’s famous quotes; the second includes his speeches before the UN General Assembly; and the third includes his speeches since assuming power.
Bowair’s first book was titled “Kuwaiti Government Ministers’ Interpellations - 19632008”. It consists of seven chapters. The second book was titled ‘Sheikh of Diplomacy’ (2009). It is a complete biography of HH Sheikh Sabah, reviewing his early life, studies, family, children, diplomatic career and role in cementing Kuwait’s relations with various nations, contributions, awards, the positions he assumed before he became Amir, his interests, benevolence, his role during and after the Iraqi invasion as well as his role in supporting the Iraqi people after its liberation, his initiatives and the international conferences he called for and hosted and his vision to turn Kuwait into a regional financial and commercial hub.
Bowair’s third book was titled ‘Sabah AlKhair’ (The Benevolent Sabah), which focused on HH the Amir’s 61-year-long career and the role he has played in Kuwait’s foreign policy and Kuwait’s diplomacy. His fourth book, published in 2012, was titled ‘HH Sheikh Nasser AlMohammed’, while his fifth book, also in 2012, was titled ‘HH Sheikh Salem Al-Ali - An Oasis of Liberality’. Bowair’s sixth book about Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Meshaal AlAhmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was published in 2013. His seventh book about HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah was published in 2015. His eighth book on HH the Amir as the Humanitarian Leader was published in 2015. Bowair’s ninth book on HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak Al-Sabah was published in 2015, while his tenth book was on Sheikha Fareeha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, also in 2015.
