‘Kashta Khal­i­jiya’ fo­rum con­cludes

The Na­tional So­ci­ety of Do­mes­tic Se­cu­rity (RAWASI) held a con­clud­ing cer­e­mony for the third edi­tion of ‘Kashta Khal­i­jiya’ (Gulf pic­nic) Fo­rum on Tues­day, which was at­tended by the rep­re­sen­ta­tive of the State Min­istry for Youth Af­fairs Mo­hammed Al-Mu­tairi on be­half of Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, and Ali Al-Hadad, Chair­man of Rawda and Hawally Co-op So­ci­ety. Hadad noted that the co-op has set 20 per­cent of its prof­its for so­ci­ety ser­vices and ac­tiv­i­ties.

Ta­hani Al-Qalaf, Head of the Me­dia Com­mit­tee at RAWASI said that the ‘Kashta Khal­i­jiya’ Fo­rum co­in­cides with the Is­lamic Ed­u­ca­tional, Sci­en­tific and Cul­tural Or­ga­ni­za­tion’s (ISESCO) de­ci­sion to se­lect Kuwait City as the Cap­i­tal of Is­lamic Cul­ture for the year 2016. A to­tal of 350 young mem­bers from Kuwait and the Gulf Co­op­er­a­tion Coun­cil (GCC) coun­tries par­tic­i­pated in the fo­rum. “We spent four months pre­par­ing this cul­tural ac­tiv­ity. Also, it is amaz­ing that fe­male par­tic­i­pa­tion reached over 200, out of all the par­tic­i­pants,” stressed Qalaf.

The ac­tiv­i­ties in­cluded dif­fer­ent cour­ses and sym­po­siums. A body lan­guage course pre­sented by Hisham Abu Shaira, as well as an­other course ti­tled ‘Turn­ing Point’ by Faisal Al-Mu­sawi, which showed that cre­ativ­ity and achiev­ing has no lim­its, while a plan­ning course was pre­sented by Dr Ma­her Al-Seif ac­com­pa­nied by a work­shop. In ad­di­tion, Hawra’ Dashti pre­sented a course on per­sonal charisma di­rectly com­mu­ni­cat­ing with the au­di­ence. In the mean­time, Ab­dul­lah Mahdi pre­sented a course ti­tled ‘God’s Par­adise on Earth’. The fo­rum also had com­edy ses­sions and speeches pre­sented by the GCC par­tic­i­pants, fol­lowed by an open dis­cus­sion ses­sion. The fo­rum con­cluded with an award cer­e­mony and din­ner.
