KUWAIT: Injaz Kuwait celebrated International Volunteer Day by honoring the volunteers of its ‘Injaz Superhero 2016’ campaign for their efforts in making significant changes in youth’s lives. The celebration was held yesterday at the 360 Mall, and was attended by members of Injaz Kuwait, entrepreneurs and volunteers who graduated from Injaz, strategic partners, sponsors, and media. The recently launched volunteering campaign invited professional young people with an experience of two to fifteen years in any profession to exchange their experience and knowledge with students. The celebration included different activities, and there was a 3D model displaying all the schools and universities that the volunteers visited. All ‘superheroes’ clicked pictures to post it on different social media.

Furthermore, the ‘Injaz superheroes’ exchanged their experiences with the potential volunteers, who also received a superhero headgear through their registration in Injaz program, which were exhibited on the rotating wall at the event. In addition, all the attendees received ‘superhero stickers’ for their cell phones which read ‘I’m the Injaz Superhero’, especially designed for the heroes.

On this occasion, Rana Al-Nibari, CEO Injaz Kuwait noted that the main values of Injaz Kuwait always focused on empowering the youth and developing them through partnership with both the public and private sectors. “The volunteers are the main pillars of the Injaz program. Their experiences will allow the students to discover the nature of every job, and will help them to successfully choose their career. Also, the students will be capable to predict the expectations and difficulties that they will face in their future, and they will know how to face those challenges, thus making every volunteer a superhero,” she added.

The continuous participation and sponsorship of the companies and sponsors have made them partners of Injaz. “Injaz believes in the importance of investing in the future of Kuwait and empowering the youth to succeed in their career and business. The volunteers who invest their time in training, the university and school students have made this possible,” added Nibari.

Nibari also thanked all sponsors including private companies and public institutions who made this volunteering campaign successful in particular, and the educational programs of Injaz in general. “Without your support, we would not be able to make this project a great success,” she concluded. Injaz is providing its programs during the 201617 academic year with different ways of participation. Interested volunteers can contact Injaz through their email: superhero@injaz-kuwait.org.
