KALA (Art) dis­trib­utes prizes to win­ners

Kala (Art) Kuwait "NIRAM 2016" Chil­dren's Day paint­ing com­pe­ti­tion has con­cluded with the prize dis­tri­bu­tion to all win­ners at a col­or­ful cer­e­mo­nial func­tion held at In­dian Com­mu­nity School, Khai­tan on De­cem­ber 8, 2016. The pro­gram was wit­nessed by In­dian em­bassy of­fi­cials, com­mu­nity lead­ers, school prin­ci­pals, art teach­ers and me­dia rep­re­sen­ta­tives. The paint­ing com­pe­ti­tion was held on the oc­ca­sion of the birth­day of late Pan­dit Jawa­har­lal Nehru, the first Prime Min­is­ter of In­de­pen­dent In­dia.

A K Sri­vas­tava, Sec­ond Sec­re­tary, In­dian Em­bassy Kuwait, in­au­gu­rated the func­tion and ap­pre­ci­ated all win­ners for their fab­u­lous paint­ing works, which were dis­played at the en­trance. The 12th An­niver­sary sou­venir of "NIRAM" was re­leased by Sri­vas­tava by hand­ing over the first copy to K Has­san Koya, Con­vener Pub­lic Re­la­tion and Mukesh V.P, Con­vener Sou­venir.

The wel­come speech was ad­dressed by Rakesh P. D. Gen­eral Sec­re­tary, Kala (Art) Kuwait. Or­ga­ni­za­tion Pres­i­dent Jai­son Joseph Chaired the func­tion. NIRAM2016 pro­gram re­port­ing done by Gen­eral Con­vener Su­nil Ku­mar and Judg­ing As­sess­ment was briefed by Artist Sasikr­ish­nan.
