ASDA'A Bur­son-Marsteller is me­dia and mar­ket­ing com­pany of the year

Lead­ing Dubai-based pub­lic re­la­tions agency rec­og­nized for cor­po­rate lead­er­ship across Mid­dle East ASDA'A Bur­son-Marsteller has been an­nounced as the "Me­dia & Mar­ket­ing Com­pany of the Year" at the an­nual Ara­bian Business Achieve­ment Awards 2016, which were held in Dubai re­cently. The Agency's Founder and Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer, Su­nil John, picked up the award dur­ing a gala din­ner at the Ar­mani Ho­tel Dubai, where the United King­dom's for­mer Chan­cel­lor of the Ex­che­quer, Ge­orge Osborne, gave a key­note speech.

Se­lected by an in­de­pen­dent panel of judges, the award rec­og­nizes ASDA'A Bur­son-Marsteller's strong track record. Dur­ing the last 12 months, the Agency has de­vel­oped strate­gic cam­paigns for gov­ern­ments in the UAE, Saudi Ara­bia, Kuwait and Egypt, as well as for a ros­ter of lo­cal and multi­na­tional blue-chip clients, in­clud­ing Emaar, Eti­salat, Emi­rates NBD, Qatar Air­ways, GE, Ford and Nes­tle. The Agency is also be­hind the an­nual Arab Youth Sur­vey, one of the most widely cited pieces of pub­lic opin­ion re­search on the re­gion by me­dia through­out the world.

ASDA'A Bur­son-Marsteller em­ploys 160 pro­fes­sion­als across 11 wholly owned of­fices through­out the Mid­dle East. The Ara­bian Business Achieve­ment Awards seek to rec­og­nize and re­ward out­stand­ing cor­po­rate lead­er­ship across a range of sec­tors, with nom­i­na­tions be­ing drawn from across the Gulf and wider Mid­dle East re­gion. For more than a decade, the awards have been one of the most pres­ti­gious events in the re­gion, and have tra­di­tion­ally seen par­tic­i­pa­tion from some of the big­gest names in business and pol­i­tics, both re­gion­ally and in­ter­na­tion­ally.

"The Me­dia & Mar­ket­ing cat­e­gory cov­ers a sig­nif­i­cant range of sec­tors in the Mid­dle East, which makes us all the more hon­ored to have won this award," said Su­nil John, Founder and CEO of ASDA'A Bur­son­Marsteller. The award caps a stel­lar year for ASDA'A Bur­son-Marsteller, which also won the Pub­lic Re­la­tions Agency of the Year in the Mid­dle East and Africa for the sixth year run­ning at this year's In­ter­na­tional Business Awards, as well as col­lect­ing a cov­eted SABRE In 2 Award EMEA for Thought Lead­er­ship in PR for its work on the Arab Youth Sur­vey.

At the end of Novem­ber, Su­nil John was pre­sented with the Chair­man's Award at the Mid­dle East PR Awards 2016. ASDA'A Bur­son-Marsteller also picked up a MEPRA Gold award in the Cor­po­rate Rep­u­ta­tion cat­e­gory for its work on the Arab Youth Sur­vey, as well as two Sil­ver Awards for its work with GEMS Ed­u­ca­tion and Emi­rates Is­lamic Bank.
