AUB launches PIN num­ber is­suance ser­vice via ATMs

KUWAIT: Ahli United Bank (AUB) an­nounced to­day the launch of its new smart ser­vice for its tele­bank­ing plat­form, en­abling all cus­tomers, in­clud­ing those with Spe­cial needs, to is­sue their tele­bank­ing PIN num­bers through the Bank’s ATMs. The new ini­tia­tive adds more value to the al­ready ex­ist­ing ser­vice the bank of­fers through its cus­tomer ser­vice 24/7.

AUB’s lat­est ser­vice is part of its un­der­ly­ing ef­forts to con­sol­i­date elec­tronic bank­ing ser­vices to pro­vide a com­pre­hen­sive cat­a­logue of ser­vices at all cus­tomer touch­points in line with the Bank’s com­mit­ment to de­liv­er­ing qual­ity ser­vices us­ing ground break­ing, safe tech­nol­ogy that fa­cil­i­tates cus­tomer’s bank­ing needs. Cus­tomers can now en­ter their ATM card, their se­cure PIN and is­sue their tele­bank­ing PIN through sim­ple on­screen in­struc­tions. As with all elec­tronic trans­ac­tions, these trans­ac­tions also have in­dus­try stan­dard and ro­bust se­cu­rity mea­sures.

This ser­vice is in line with the Bank’s con­tin­u­ous ef­fort to cre­ate se­cure, easy to use and ef­fi­cient ser­vices across all al­ter­na­tive chan­nels in or­der to serve all cus­tomers; in­clud­ing those with spe­cial needs. By thought­fully ap­ply­ing a mix of tech­nol­ogy in­clud­ing en­hanced con­trols, the Bank is com­mit­ted to serv­ing all ar­eas of so­ci­ety, es­pe­cially those re­quir­ing spe­cial as­sis­tance en­sur­ing al­ways that they en­joy the same level of ser­vice and can ben­e­fit from all prod­ucts and ser­vices.

The ob­jec­tive is to drive a strong tech­nol­ogy based com­mu­ni­ca­tions chan­nel that de­liv­ers prod­ucts and ser­vices for all cus­tomers while en­sur­ing that speed, re­li­a­bil­ity and safety mea­sures are never com­pro­mised.
