KIPCO’s Al­ter­na­tive En­ergy Projects in­au­gu­rates showroom in Shuwaikh

Al­ter­na­tive En­ergy Projects Com­pany (AEP) - a mem­ber of the KIPCO Group - has made al­ter­na­tive en­ergy prod­ucts avail­able to the public at its new showroom in Shuwaikh. AEP is a so­lar en­ergy provider, spe­cial­ized in bring­ing en­ergy ef­fi­ciency and re­new­able en­ergy so­lu­tions to of­fice build­ings, homes and public ar­eas. The in­au­gu­ra­tion of the showroom was at­tended by se­nior ex­ec­u­tives of the KIPCO Group, those in­ter­ested in the re­new­able en­ergy field and rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the me­dia.

On this oc­ca­sion, Dr Has­san Qasem, AEP’s Gen­eral Man­ager said: “The con­cept of re­new­able en­ergy and green build­ings is new to Kuwait. We seek to raise aware­ness about the im­por­tance of en­ergy ef­fi­ciency for the sus­tain­abil­ity of our re­sources. By of­fer­ing both con­sul­ta­tion and ex­e­cu­tion ser­vices, we are help­ing clients achieve en­ergy ef­fi­ciency and reap the ben­e­fits on the longer run, es­pe­cially with the im­mi­nent in­crease in en­ergy costs. At AEP, it is our aim to make in­no­va­tive, re­new­able en­ergy so­lu­tions read­ily avail­able in the MENA mar­kets.”

KUWAIT: Deputy Chair­man of the Mu­nic­i­pal Coun­cil Me­shaal Al-Juwaisri met yes­ter­day with a team from Qatar’s Mu­nic­i­pal Coun­cil led by Deputy Chair­man Ha­mad Al-Muhan­nadi. Mem­bers from Kuwait’s Mu­nic­i­pal Coun­cil also at­tended the meet­ing, dur­ing which both sides dis­cussed in­creas­ing co­op­er­a­tion in the mu­nic­i­pal field.
