Ooredoo sponsors engineering fair
Ooredoo, Kuwait’s fastest network, sponsored Magniscope, a graduation project that demonstrated electromagnetic and magnetic fields during the graduation project fair for Kuwait University’s students of the Faculty of Engineering. The two-day fair took place last week in the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s Baraka hall, under the patronage of Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan.
In a statement to the press, Ooredoo reiterated its commitment to supporting youth in all fields, especially the academic field, as part of its mission to help people achieve their wants and reach their potential. The students of the sponsored project, Areej Ahmad, Batool Dashti, Laila Boabbas, Lamis Waleed and Sazida Hussain, used the technologies of virtual reality and 3D imaging to illustrate the way magnetic and electromagnetic fields work.
Ooredoo has several memorandum of understandings with esteemed academic organizations and government entities that aim to enrich the experience of youth, through year-round activities and events as per the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy.
