Oore­doo spon­sors en­gi­neer­ing fair

Oore­doo, Kuwait’s fastest net­work, spon­sored Mag­nis­cope, a grad­u­a­tion project that demon­strated elec­tro­mag­netic and mag­netic fields dur­ing the grad­u­a­tion project fair for Kuwait Univer­sity’s stu­dents of the Fac­ulty of En­gi­neer­ing. The two-day fair took place last week in the Crowne Plaza Ho­tel’s Baraka hall, un­der the pa­tron­age of Min­is­ter of Com­merce and In­dus­try and Act­ing Min­is­ter of State for Youth Af­fairs Khaled Al-Roud­han.

In a state­ment to the press, Oore­doo re­it­er­ated its com­mit­ment to sup­port­ing youth in all fields, es­pe­cially the aca­demic field, as part of its mis­sion to help peo­ple achieve their wants and reach their po­ten­tial. The stu­dents of the spon­sored project, Areej Ah­mad, Ba­tool Dashti, Laila Boab­bas, Lamis Waleed and Sazida Hus­sain, used the tech­nolo­gies of vir­tual re­al­ity and 3D imag­ing to il­lus­trate the way mag­netic and elec­tro­mag­netic fields work.

Oore­doo has sev­eral mem­o­ran­dum of un­der­stand­ings with es­teemed aca­demic or­ga­ni­za­tions and gov­ern­ment en­ti­ties that aim to en­rich the ex­pe­ri­ence of youth, through year-round ac­tiv­i­ties and events as per the com­pany’s cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity strat­egy.
