The Commercial Real Estate Company sponsors engineering, petroleum students graduation projects
Project wins first place in ‘Best Engineering Design’
As part of The Commercial Real Estate Company ongoing ‘We Care’ - Social Responsibility initiatives, the company has been sponsoring and supporting the graduation projects for Kuwait University students for over 11 consecutive years now.
During the 32 Engineering Exhibition Competition that was recently concluded in Crowne Plaza Hotel 4-5 July under the patronage of Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan, a unique project which was sponsored and supported by Al-Tijaria has won the first place.
The students involved in this project: Mohamed Waleed Al-Ayoub, Saad Saoud Al-Eteibi, Mohamed Humoud AlSabah, Abdulrazzaq Abdulfatah Marafie, Eissa Marwan Al-Eissa and Ali Hasan Taleb won the first prize as the ‘The Best Engineering Design’. The project involved studying the maintenance system development at Kuwait Airways.
Rawan Adnan - Marketing and Leasing Department Manager stated that “the company believes in the powerful impact of human investment in building a successful society and impressing economy. Thus, the company supports youth education, especially the students from College of Engineering and Petroleum by financially supporting them all year around. This initiative encourages the students to do research, be creative and come up with graduation projects which can have an impact on the urban and social development in the State of Kuwait.”
It is worth mentioning that The Commercial Real Estate Company has sponsored more than 2,700 students since the year 2006 and continues to do so till date. Rawan further stated that “The Commercial Real Estate Company is dedicating its efforts and care towards the youth and is liaising all of its resources to support them throughout their education and career.
