The Com­mer­cial Real Es­tate Com­pany spon­sors engi­neer­ing, petroleum stu­dents grad­u­a­tion projects

Project wins first place in ‘Best Engi­neer­ing De­sign’

As part of The Com­mer­cial Real Es­tate Com­pany on­go­ing ‘We Care’ - So­cial Re­spon­si­bil­ity ini­tia­tives, the com­pany has been spon­sor­ing and sup­port­ing the grad­u­a­tion projects for Kuwait Univer­sity stu­dents for over 11 con­sec­u­tive years now.

Dur­ing the 32 Engi­neer­ing Ex­hi­bi­tion Com­pe­ti­tion that was re­cently con­cluded in Crowne Plaza Ho­tel 4-5 July un­der the pa­tron­age of Min­is­ter of Com­merce and In­dus­try and Min­is­ter of State for Youth Af­fairs Khaled Al-Roud­han, a unique project which was spon­sored and sup­ported by Al-Ti­jaria has won the first place.

The stu­dents in­volved in this project: Mo­hamed Waleed Al-Ay­oub, Saad Saoud Al-Eteibi, Mo­hamed Hu­moud AlSabah, Ab­dul­raz­zaq Ab­dul­fa­tah Marafie, Eissa Mar­wan Al-Eissa and Ali Hasan Taleb won the first prize as the ‘The Best Engi­neer­ing De­sign’. The project in­volved study­ing the main­te­nance sys­tem devel­op­ment at Kuwait Air­ways.

Rawan Ad­nan - Marketing and Leas­ing De­part­ment Man­ager stated that “the com­pany be­lieves in the pow­er­ful im­pact of hu­man investment in build­ing a suc­cess­ful so­ci­ety and im­press­ing econ­omy. Thus, the com­pany sup­ports youth ed­u­ca­tion, es­pe­cially the stu­dents from Col­lege of Engi­neer­ing and Petroleum by fi­nan­cially sup­port­ing them all year around. This ini­tia­tive en­cour­ages the stu­dents to do re­search, be cre­ative and come up with grad­u­a­tion projects which can have an im­pact on the ur­ban and so­cial devel­op­ment in the State of Kuwait.”

It is worth men­tion­ing that The Com­mer­cial Real Es­tate Com­pany has spon­sored more than 2,700 stu­dents since the year 2006 and con­tin­ues to do so till date. Rawan fur­ther stated that “The Com­mer­cial Real Es­tate Com­pany is ded­i­cat­ing its ef­forts and care to­wards the youth and is li­ais­ing all of its re­sources to sup­port them through­out their ed­u­ca­tion and ca­reer.
