Canon launches new of­fice tech to help small busi­nesses

Canon Mid­dle East, world leader in imag­ing so­lu­tions, has yes­ter­day an­nounced the lat­est de­vice that ex­tends its wide-rang­ing of­fice tech­nol­ogy port­fo­lio even fur­ther. The im­age RUN­NER C3025 iu­tilises Canon’s award-win­ning tech­nol­ogy to en­sure that users’ mas­ter their doc­u­ment work­flows from start to fin­ish. De­signed to im­prove ef­fi­ciency and pro­duc­tiv­ity at ev­ery stage of the print process, the de­vice is packed full of new fea­tures to help op­ti­mize small of­fice en­vi­ron­ments.

In­tu­itive user ex­pe­ri­ence

The easy-to-use and in­tu­itive 5-inch touch­screen en­hances of­fice ef­fi­ciency, al­low­ing users to start op­er­at­ing in­stantly. The com­pact de­vice com­bines fast mono and color print speeds of 25 pages per minute with strik­ing V2 color imag­ing tech­nol­ogy and the op­tion of a 3-in-1 fin­isher that of­fers sta­ple, sta­ple-on­de­mand and ECO sta­ple func­tion­al­ity, to de­liver high qual­ity out­puts time and time again. For more scan­in­ten­sive en­vi­ron­ments, the im­ageRUNNER C3025i is equipped with a re­vers­ing au­to­matic doc­u­ment feeder (RADF) as stan­dard.

Ef­fort­less flex­i­ble work­ing

How­ever users are cre­at­ing, shar­ing and man­ag­ing their doc­u­ments, the im­ageRUNNER C3025i fa­cil­i­tates new ways of work­ing and is com­pat­i­ble with a host of per­sonal de­vices in­clud­ing tablets, lap­tops and smart­phones. Once con­nected, users will then be able to ex­e­cute their mo­bile work­flows us­ing tech­nolo­gies such as the Canon’s PRINT Busi­ness App, AirPrint, Mo­pria and Google Cloud Print­ing plat­form. Users can also choose to trans­fer their data through a wired or wire­less net­work con­nec­tion or, to help keep up with the de­mands of mod­ern work­ing en­vi­ron­ments with­out com­pro­mis­ing on se­cu­rity, IT ad­min­is­tra­tors can help them con­nect through a direct WiFi con­nec­tion, with­out them hav­ing to con­nect a per­sonal de­vice to the com­pany net­work.

Pro­vid­ing a time ef­fec­tive ap­proach to dig­i­tal doc­u­ment shar­ing, the im­ageRUNNER de­vice also comes with the MF Scan Util­ity that im­proves scan­ning work­flows and al­lows users to take ad­van­tage of the ma­chines ca­pa­bil­ity to cre­ate files such as search­able PDF doc­u­ments, at­tach them to an e-mail and scan di­rectly to as­signed des­ti­na­tions.

The im­ageRUNNER C3025i sup­ports re­mote ser­vice ca­pa­bil­i­ties for toner man­age­ment and di­ag­nos­tics to keep the de­vice up and run­ning. Thanks to GDLS func­tion­al­ity, users can eas­ily up­date their de­vice to the lat­est avail­able firmware en­sur­ing a strong re­turn on in­vest­ment of their as­set. They also have main­te­nance videos to help sim­plify the man­age­ment of the ma­chine so that em­ploy­ees can per­form rou­tine trou­bleshoot­ing at no ad­di­tional cost, with­out need­ing a ser­vice call out.

As se­cu­rity re­mains a pri­or­ity for most mod­ern busi­nesses, the im­ageRUNNER C3025i sim­pli­fies the man­age­ment and ap­pli­ca­tion of Canon’s im­pres­sive se­cu­rity of­fer­ing. While the de­vice comes with na­tive se­cure print­ing, IPSec and the op­tion of en­crypted PDF func­tion­al­ity, IT ad­min­is­tra­tors can take ad­van­tage of seam­less in­te­gra­tion with Canon’s uniFLOW man­age­ment soft­ware, al­low­ing them to man­age and con­trol user ac­cess across a cen­tral­ized fleet of de­vices.
