Motul strengthens partnership with McLaren GT
The synergies between Motul and McLaren GT are backed by high performance, quality, prestige and a long, successful history in the motorsport. Following a successful association in 2016 with McLaren GT customer race team, Garage 59, Motul has become the approved lubricant supplier of McLaren GT and its customer teams through the newly announced partnership.
2016 was a successful debut year in the working relationship, with highlights including victory at the Bathurst 12 Hours in Australia, and a Championship title in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. From 2017 the partnership will see Motul supporting six McLaren 650S GT3 models in the popular Blancpain Endurance Series and Blancpain Sprint Series.
Central to the deal is the technical relationship between the two companies, and products from Motul’s Motorsport Line range are now recommended to all new and existing customer teams. Among these products will be 300V Trophy 0W40 engine oil, Gear 300 LS 75W90 gear box oil and RBF 660 brake fluid.
Technologically advanced for all types of engines
Motulhas evolved over the decades to one of the globally leading lubricants specializing in the formulation, production and distribution of high-tech engine lubricants as well as gaining experience as an official supplier to many racing teams and manufacturers contributing with them towards further technological development.
Motul is also recognized as the specialist in synthetic lubricants. As early as 1971, Motul was the first lubricant manufacturer to pioneer the formulation of a 100% synthetic lubricant for automotive engines, the 300V lubricant, making use of Esters technology and issued from the aeronautical industry.
The world-class lubricants from France will be soon launched in Kuwait by Al Sayer.
