Re­new­able en­ergy ex­hi­bi­tion kicks off in Kuwait

The Min­istry of Elec­tric­ity and Wa­ter hosted yes­ter­day a re­new­able en­ergy ex­hi­bi­tion at its head­quar­ters, in co­op­er­a­tion with Ger­man en­ergy tech­nol­ogy and man­u­fac­tur­ing firm, Siemens AG. This fair aims at ben­e­fit­ing from Ger­man ex­per­tise in the field of sus­tain­able, so­lar and wind en­er­gies, Un­der­sec­re­tary at the Min­istry En­gi­neer Mo­ham­mad Boushehri said. Co­op­er­a­tion with Ger­man com­pa­nies greatly con­trib­utes to the de­vel­op­ment of the min­istry’s ser­vices, he af­firmed. The min­istry sent 15 en­gi­neers and tech­ni­cians to Ger­many for two weeks to be briefed on the lat­est de­vel­op­ments on this do­main, he said. Boushehri ex­pected the de­mand on sus­tain­able en­ergy to reach 15 per­cent in Kuwait.— KUNA
