Ecolog ap­points Adil Toubia as Vice Chair­man, CEO

As a well-rec­og­nized global ex­ec­u­tive in the oil and gas in­dus­try, Toubia brings to Ecolog a wealth of ex­pe­ri­ence and a long list of rec­og­nized achieve­ments. His stel­lar back­ground per­fectly aligns with Ecolog’s strate­gic de­vel­op­ment and vi­sion to be­come the pace­set­ter in its field of ac­tiv­i­ties. Ecolog, cur­rently work­ing in more than 35 coun­tries, pro­vides turnkey and cus­tom­ized sup­port so­lu­tions to govern­ments, de­fense, hu­man­i­tar­ian or­ga­ni­za­tions and com­mer­cial clients in the sec­tors of Oil & Gas, Min­ing, En­ergy, and In­fra­struc­ture.

Toubia is the for­mer world­wide pres­i­dent of the Wire­line and Drilling di­vi­sions at Sch­lum­berger, the world’s lead­ing oil­field ser­vices com­pany, where he worked for more than two decades and held var­i­ous ex­ec­u­tive roles. “Ecolog is very pleased to have found the per­fect in­di­vid­ual to steer us into deeper spe­cial­iza­tion and op­ti­miza­tion as we con­tinue our global ex­pan­sion,” said Nazif Des­tani, Ecolog Founder and Chair­man. “Adil’s vast knowl­edge and proven track record make him uniquely qual­i­fied to lead Ecolog dur­ing this ex­cit­ing time of growth.”

From 2012 to 2014, Toubia was Global CEO of Siemens Oil & Gas Di­vi­sion, at Euro 5 bil­lion turnover with 17,500 peo­ple. He last served as Group CEO of Al-Ghu­rair In­vest­ment, and has pre­vi­ously held top ex­ec­u­tive po­si­tions with En­ergy Cap­i­tal Group and GCC En­ergy Fund, pri­vate eq­uity firms mak­ing in­vest­ments in the en­ergy and power sec­tors.
