Al-Bab­tain collaborates with IN­JAZ Kuwait for 2017 in­tern­ship pro­gram

Ab­dul­mohsen Ab­du­laziz Al-Bab­tain Com­pany (AABC), in col­lab­o­ra­tion with IN­JAZ Kuwait re­cently wel­comed its first batch of stu­dents to the 2017 In­tern­ship Pro­gram for Young Kuwaiti stu­dents. The dy­namic four week course is de­signed to stim­u­late the minds of the next gen­er­a­tions with in depth knowl­edge of each di­vi­sion of the com­pany and ac­com­mo­date them with the means to join as full time em­ploy­ees in the Al-Bab­tain Group. With grow­ing de­mand for ex­cel­lence and di­ver­si­fi­ca­tion in the job mar­ket, the AlBab­tain group re­mains com­mit­ted to up­hold­ing the valu­able ed­u­ca­tion of the fu­ture of Kuwait’s lead­ing per­form­ers.

The pro­gram that will con­tinue un­til Au­gust 10, 2017 in­te­grated the stu­dents into ar­eas of the group’s Sales, Ser­vice, Cus­tomer man­age­ment, Mar­ket­ing and Hu­man Re­sources for a wider and in­tri­cate un­der­stand­ing of in­ter­nal op­er­a­tions. The two week train­ing which al­lowed thein­terns to ex­plore a world of the­o­ret­i­cal and prac­ti­cal hands-on ap­proach in­volved ex­ten­sive vis­its to the re­spec­tive di­vi­sions. This equipped them with a bet­ter un­der­stand­ing through thor­ough in­ter­ac­tive ses­sion­swith the dif­fer­ent di­vi­sion heads.

In ad­di­tion, the pro­gram will fur­ther in­clude seven in­di­vid­ual devel­op­ment mod­ules that have been de­signed to arm the am­bi­tiouswith the core skills re­quired to com­pete in a thriv­ing busi­ness en­vi­ron­ment such as lead­er­ship in chang­ing en­vi­ron­ments, time man­age­ment, oral and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion, prob­lem solv­ing, team dy­nam­ics, search­ing for a job and tech­niques to face in­ter­views. The fi­nal phase will in­clude a cer­tifi­cate of com­ple­tion to all of the par­tic­i­pants and an eval­u­a­tion of each in­tern’s per­for­mance that will de­ter­mine their fu­ture em­ploy­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties in the con­cerned op­er­a­tions.
