Top-notch clinic picked for treat­ing Kuwaiti pa­tients

The Min­istry of De­fense is ea­ger on choos­ing the most rep­utable hos­pi­tals for treat­ing Kuwaiti pa­tients who need spe­cial treat­ment abroad, the of­fi­cial in charge of treat­ment abroad Brigadier Emad Aman un­der­lined yes­ter­day. In a state­ment on the side­lines of his visit to Cleve­land Clinic Abu Dhabi, ac­com­pa­nied by Kuwait Am­bas­sador in Abu Dhabi Salah Al-Buai­jan, Aman ex­pressed ad­mi­ra­tion of the clinic’s world-class ser­vices and its highly-qual­i­fied staff and so­phis­ti­cated tech­nolo­gies.

Aman dis­closed that Deputy Prime Min­is­ter and Min­is­ter of De­fense Sheikh Mo­ham­mad Khaled Al-Ha­mad Al-Sabah has given clear in­struc­tions to make sure that Kuwaiti pa­tients are re­ceiv­ing that best med­i­cal ser­vices at home and abroad. He pointed out that the goal of his visit to the clinic is to get a first-hand ex­pe­ri­ence about the ser­vices of­fered to the Kuwaiti pa­tients through tour­ing the hos­pi­tal and meet­ing both pa­tients and doc­tors.

He voiced ju­bi­la­tion over Dr Ah­mad Al-Duaij, a Kuwaiti na­tional, join­ing of Cleve­land Clinic staff. Aman also noted that he has co­or­di­nated with a num­ber of se­nior doc­tors at the Amer­i­can Hos­pi­tal in Dubai to visit Kuwait and carry out a num­ber of surg­eries there. Mean­while, pa­tients af­fairs of­fi­cial at the Cleve­land Clinic Wadha Al-Nuaimi said that 184 Kuwaiti pa­tients have re­ceived treat­ment at the clinic in 2016 and 100 this year.
