Kuwait in­stalls six new wa­ter wells in Tan­za­nian schools

The Kuwaiti Em­bassy in Tan­za­nia cel­e­brated the in­stal­la­tion of six new wa­ter wells in two vil­lages in Tan­za­nia. This takes the to­tal num­ber of Kuwait-funded wells in the African coun­try to 35. The wells are part of the “wa­ter well for each school” ini­tia­tive launched by Kuwait Em­bassy in Tan­za­nia and funded by a num­ber of Kuwaiti bod­ies and char­i­ties. Kuwaiti Am­bas­sador to Tan­za­nia Jassem Al-Na­jim stressed in a state­ment yes­ter­day Kuwait’s keen­ness on pro­vid­ing life-sav­ing as­sis­tance, ed­u­ca­tion, health­care, clean wa­ter to all coun­tries in need. Na­jim praised Kuwait Red Cres­cent So­ci­ety (KRCS)’s hu­man­i­tar­ian ac­tions and con­tin­ued co­op­er­a­tion with the em­bassy in Tan­za­nia, which re­sulted in in­au­gu­rat­ing 16 wells in a num­ber of schools in Dar es Salaam, Tan­za­nia, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with other Kuwaiti hu­man­i­tar­ian bod­ies. —KUNA
