School of Business students at the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) gave an outstanding presentation, to Al-Yaal Mall management, presenting their strategic marketing plans for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s). The initiative is in line with the Project Based Learning program provided by ACK, which links the students with the workforce reality in a unique application of the academic concepts of strategic planning. Commenting on ACK Students’ performance, Jamal Qishawi, Al-Yaal Mall Manager, said: “I am very pleased to see the diversified projects and strong strategic planning presented by ACK students especially that it is in line with the economic and social changes in the region.”

Dr Sam Toglaw, Dean of School of Business at ACK, attended the presentations and extended his thanks to the mall management for offering ACK students the opportunity to showcase their projects, which were attended and assessed by the mall marketing and operation managers.

On the other hand, Jamal Qishawi, the mall manager, stated that his management has diligently sought to be distinct in launching and diversifying the services and shops at the Al-Yaal mall and commercial tower to maintain sustenance in a competitive market.

The mall is aiming for the opening of a global standard bowling lounge, which is the largest in South Kuwait. In addition, a state of the art women sports club will be opened at the pent house of the tower featuring a unique panoramic view of the beach and Fahaheel. ACK students ended their visit with a tour within the mall to see its facilities and the 20-storey commercial tower which made the Yaal mall a distinctive landmark in Fahaheel.
