PAAET to host 8th sports tournament

Director General of Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) Dr Ahmad Al-Athari chaired the first meeting of the higher organizing committee of the 8th sports tournament for GCC universities and higher education institutions, which PAAET will host from November 5 to 11, 2017 on its Shuwaikh and Ardhiya playgrounds. Dr AlAthari welcomed reps from the authority and Ministry of Information and lauded the spirit of cooperation they have.

Meanwhile, Students Affairs Dean at PAAET Dr Hussain Al-Mukaimi said he was happy for the authority’s hosting of this important event adding that there will be around 800 participants in it from 15 universities and institutions, and may increase as registration is still open through the official website. He said the tournament have eight games including football, volleyball, athletics, swimming, tennis, table tennis and marathon.
