Amir sends ca­ble of con­do­lences to UAE

His High­ness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAh­mad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a ca­ble of con­do­lences to the Pres­i­dent of the UAE Sheikh Khal­ifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, ex­press­ing sor­row over the death of four Emi­rati ser­vice­men in Ye­men. His High­ness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ah­mad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His High­ness the Prime Min­is­ter Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Ha­mad Al-Sabah also sent sim­i­lar ca­bles. The UAE armed forces said that four Emi­rati sol­diers, part of the Saudi led-coali­tion forces fight­ing for le­git­i­macy in Ye­men, were killed while on duty, of­fi­cial me­dia re­ported. While at­tempt­ing to make an emer­gency land­ing in Shabwa gov­er­norate, south­ern Ye­men, due to a mal­func­tion, the sol­diers’ heli­copter crashed to the ground lead­ing to their demise, UAE’s Gen­eral Com­mand of the Armed Forces said in a state­ment, ac­cord­ing to Emi­rati News Agency (WAM).
