Kuwaitis in US ‘safe’

The Kuwaiti em­bassy in Wash­ing­ton as­sured that Kuwaiti na­tional are safe after the vi­o­lent clashes which erupted be­tween pro­test­ers in the US state of Vir­ginia Satur­day and left at least one per­son dead and scores oth­ers in­jured. In a press state­ment, the em­bassy called on all na­tion­als, es­pe­cially stu­dents, in Vir­ginal to stay away from the clash ar­eas. It also ad­vised cit­i­zenry to abide by the se­cu­rity and safety in­struc­tions of the rel­e­vant lo­cal au­thor­i­ties.
