KUWAIT: Kuwait’s marine en­vi­ron­ment is rich with dif­fer­ent types of sum­mer birds liv­ing in its is­lands and on shores. They are mon­i­tored and pro­tected by the En­vi­ron­ment Pub­lic Author­ity (EPA). These birds in­clude the West­ern Reef Heron, Grey Heron, Com­mon Sand­piper, Eurasian Curlew, Slen­der-billed Gull, Curlew Sand­piper, Ringed Plover, Greater Flamingo and many oth­ers.
