In collaboration with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL), LOYAC recently organized a concert for Egyptian musician and pianist Amr Selim and his band at Abdulhussein Abdulredha Theatre. The concert was attended by NCCAL’s Assistant Secretary General For Cultural Affairs Mohammed AlAssoussi and LOYAC’s Chairperson Fareah Al-Saqqaf. After thanking LOYAC for hosting him again in Kuwait after 38 years, Selim played eleven pieces of the finest oriental songs for some of the most prominent Arab singers. He also presented each piece in a most humorous manner, playing songs for Mohammad Abdul Wahab, Abdul Haleem Hafez, Fareed Al-Atrash and Angham.
