Ambassador discusses with French-Gulf Friendship group bilateral projects
PARIS: Kuwait’s Ambassador to France Sami AlSulaiman discussed yesterday with the GCCFrench Parliamentary Friendship Group in the French Senate the upcoming bilateral projects between the two countries. Sulaiman said that the meeting, which was held Tuesday night at the embassy, comes within the framework of the distinguished relations and cooperation between Kuwait’s National assembly and French senate. He added that the delegation from the French Senate will be visiting Kuwait at the beginning of December to strengthen bilateral ties.
Sulaiman said that during the meeting he discussed the possibility that the French senate could host cultural and economic events in which a number of experts from both sides can take part in. Meanwhile, head of GCC-French Parliamentary Friendship Group Senator JeanMarie Boukil praised the friendly relations with Kuwait’s National Assembly and affirmed the importance of such meetings to strengthen ties. The meeting was attended by vice president senator Dany Wattebled and a number of French senate members. — KUNA
