Kuwaiti am­bas­sador stresses deep-rooted re­la­tions with Saudi

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s am­bas­sador to Saudi Ara­bia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ah­mad AlSabah praised yes­ter­day the deep-rooted bi­lat­eral ties be­tween the two coun­tries and peo­ples. This came dur­ing a din­ner ban­quet Sheikh Thamer held at Dar Jaber in honor of vis­it­ing Saudi Shura Coun­cil Speaker Sheikh Dr Ab­dul­lah Al-Sheikh and the of­fi­cial del­e­ga­tion ac­com­pa­ny­ing him on the oc­ca­sion of their of­fi­cial visit to the coun­try. Sheikh Thamer noted the strong and fate­ful re­la­tions be­tween the two coun­tries since an­cient times, which are now re­ceiv­ing more care from His High­ness the Amir and the Cus­to­dian of the Two Holy Mosques. He also stressed the deep-rooted re­la­tions be­tween Kuwait’s Na­tional As­sem­bly and Saudi’s Shura Coun­cil which aim at strength­en­ing ties and co­or­di­nat­ing po­si­tions re­gion­ally and in­ter­na­tion­ally. Kuwait’s Na­tional As­sem­bly Speaker Mar­zouq Ali Al-Ghanem, GCC’s Sec­re­tary Gen­eral Ab­dul­latif Al-Zayani, Saudi Am­bas­sador to Kuwait Prince Sul­tan bin Saad bin Khaled, Kuwaiti Na­tional As­sem­bly’s Gen­eral Sec­re­tary Al­lam Al-Kan­deri and some of Kuwait Par­lia­ment mem­bers at­tended the din­ner ban­quet. — KUNA
