Kuwaiti ambassador stresses deep-rooted relations with Saudi
KUWAIT: Kuwait’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad AlSabah praised yesterday the deep-rooted bilateral ties between the two countries and peoples. This came during a dinner banquet Sheikh Thamer held at Dar Jaber in honor of visiting Saudi Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr Abdullah Al-Sheikh and the official delegation accompanying him on the occasion of their official visit to the country. Sheikh Thamer noted the strong and fateful relations between the two countries since ancient times, which are now receiving more care from His Highness the Amir and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He also stressed the deep-rooted relations between Kuwait’s National Assembly and Saudi’s Shura Council which aim at strengthening ties and coordinating positions regionally and internationally. Kuwait’s National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem, GCC’s Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled, Kuwaiti National Assembly’s General Secretary Allam Al-Kanderi and some of Kuwait Parliament members attended the dinner banquet. — KUNA
