KNAB loses even more employees
Two more operatives of Latvia’s Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau have decided to leave their jobs in the bureau, deciding instead to pursue careers elsewhere, according to information from LETA.
One of the operatives has already left the bureau. The other one intends to leave in the near future.
An operative from KNAB’s Information Analysis Department had also left the bureau earlier this month.
LETA had reported in September that two operatives from KNAB’s Operative Investigations Department would leave the bureau. Both operatives in question are experienced corruption prevention specialists.
In summer, as a result of the bureau’s internal reorganization, Chief of KNAB Yaroslav Strelchenok decided to fire chief of KNAB’s Operative Investigations Office Juris Jurass, his deputy Martins Lode and head of the Investigations Department Lienite Sikore. Strelchenok also dismissed the senior expert of KNAB’s Legal Department.
