Cido com­mences ex­ports of juices to North­ern Africa

Baltic bev­er­ages pro­ducer Cido Group con­tin­ues de­vel­op­ing its ex­port po­ten­tial. The com­pany has com­menced ex­ports of juices to Libya this year.

This is the first African coun­try that val­ues juices pro­duced in Latvia. Un­til now, Lat­vian juices have been ex­ported to mar­kets like China and United Arab Emi­rates, as re­ported by the com­pany.

All juices will be ex­ported to Libya un­der Cido la­bel.

Cido Group rep­re­sen­ta­tive Inese Lielpinka com­ments on the com­pany’s choice of di­rec­tion: «Our juices taste good and are of great qual­ity. This is proven by ex­ports of juices to North­ern Africa – a re­gion rich with cit­rus fruits and which have large variety and avail­abil­ity of juices. The fact that our juices are avail­able on store shelves means we can com­pete with lo­cal pro­duc­ers. For us, this means ex­plor­ing a new re­gion.»

More than a dozen con­tain­ers have al­ready been sent to Libya.

Cido Group com­menced ex­ports to sev­eral ex­otic coun­tries in re­cent years. The com­pany now ex­ports prod­ucts to China and United Arab Emi­rates, as re­ported by the com­pany.
