airBaltic’s num­ber of car­ried pas­sen­gers reaches a record in sec­ond con­sec­u­tive month

Lat­vian airBaltic air­line car­ried 393,312 pas­sen­gers in July 2017, which is 21% more than the same pe­riod last year. The num­ber of pas­sen­gers car­ried by airBaltic re­mains the high­est it has ever been in the air­line’s his­tory, BNN was in­formed by the com­pany.

In the first seven months of 2017, airBaltic car­ried 1,958,774 pas­sen­gers to des­ti­na­tions in Eu­rope, Scan­di­navia, Rus­sia, CIS and the Mid­dle East.

airBaltic CEO Martin Gauss notes: «This sum­mer has been suc­cess­ful and rich with chal­lenges. The largest num­ber of car­ried pas­sen­gers in airBaltic’s his­tory and grow­ing in­come also show that our flights are nearly full. It means more chal­lenge for our team for us to be able to con­tinue pro­vid­ing clients with flights with some of the best punc­tu­al­ity in­dexes and great client ser­vice.»

In July, airBaltic per­formed 4,799 flights, which is 16% more than July 2016. In the first seven months, airBaltic per­formed 28,260 flights. Load fac­tor in July 2017 reached 87.7%. In the first seven months, load fac­tor in airBaltic air­craft was 76.2%, which is the high­est in­dex in the air­line’s his­tory.

The air­line’s 15 punc­tu­al­ity in­dex reached 83.5% in July.
