Val­go­ma­sis, Vil­nius

Val­go­ma­sis (in English it means a din­ing room), a trendy new restau­rant in Vil­nius that is as hum­ble as its name, and un­less you know it’s there, it’s hard to find. The only sig­nage is a sim­ple sten­cil on the door.

It’s a small and cozy fam­ily-run restau­rant serv­ing com­fort food with style. The restau­rant is run by Agnė Alen­ovič and Jurij Radze­vič. At Val­go­ma­sis, they are an ideal team: Jurij runs the kitchen and Agnė runs the front of the house, choos­ing the wines and help­ing with desserts. They have man­aged to cre­ate a place that was in­spired by love – love for food and peo­ple.

Their cui­sine fo­cuses on fresh, lo­cal and sea­sonal prod­ucts. All of their bread is home­made daily, as are the soups, and they have greens grow­ing on the win­dowsill in their kitchen. The bar serves fine liquor and care­fully se­lected wines.

The restau­rant seats 18 in­side, and an­other 30 out­side dur­ing the warmer months. Open daily for busi­ness lunch and for Sun­day brunch, evenings are open only for pri­vate din­ing. To re­serve a ta­ble you should do a pre-book­ing at +370 6109 2124.
