U.S. vice president to meet with Baltic heads of state
U.S. Vice President Mike Pence who is to arrive on a two-day visit to Tallinn on Sunday, July 30, will meet with presidents of the three Baltic countries during his visit. Pence is to meet with Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas, spokespeople for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
On Monday, July 31, Pence and Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid will take part in a roundtable on cyber and innovation. Thereafter Pence is to have a meeting with Kaljulaid, Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis and Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite.
The U.S. vice president will also meet with commander of the Estonian Defense Forces Gen. Riho Terras as well as with soldiers of the NATO battle group and Estonia. He will also hold a speech.
