Time Machine

Bespoke - - EMPEROR 1688 -

Conceived and developed by MB&F and engineered and crafted by L’epée 1839 – Switzerland’s only specialised high-end clock manufacture – Sherman is a novel 8-day power reserve table clock on tracks, the latter aspect being why it was named after the Us-made Sherman tank. Apart from being adorable to look at and quite useful as a desktop ornament (his little arms can be moved and bent to hold objects like a pen), what makes Sherman so compelling is that the majority of his body is almost entirely made up of horological parts (like the mainspring barrel bridge that support his tracks, movement spacers for shoulders, bolt heads supporting the regulator for eyes and a regulator that controls the time acting as his brain). Just 450 pieces will bemade (200 in palladium-plate and gold plate at 13,800 USD, as well as 50 diamond-set gilded pieces for 33,000 USD).
