Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, James studied law at Monash University before changing tack to pursue a career in media. His first job was as a producer at Sky in London before CNN had him move to the U.S. to produce ‘Business Traveller’. “I then moved on screen and it’s all gone quite quickly, really,” he says. “When I was a kid people used to say the greatest job was to present a TV travel show.” Proving dreams do come true he’s currently the host of CNN’S ‘In 24 Hours’ travel show.
