The idea be­hind the DWW, an an­nual event com­ing up to its third in­stal­ment, is to help turn the oc­ca­sional watch buyer into a so­phis­ti­cated horol­ogy en­thu­si­ast. And by con­nect­ing the public with watch­mak­ers, col­lec­tors, brands and the me­dia through non-com­mer­cial ex­hibits and pan­els that fo­cus on his­tory and crafts­man­ship, they're hop­ing to de­mys­tify the world of me­chan­i­cal time-keep­ing.
