THE HISTORY WITHIN THE HEART OF LEBANON
Nestled in what’s left of the little port in Ein el Mreisse, is a secret collection of 30,000 Lebanese artefacts. The collection includes Phoenician pots, rifles, swords, mortars, radios, cameras and plates, and they all belong to Ibrahim Najem. He started by collecting seashells as a fisherman. Today, his small house is a little museum with an old wooden door like that of Ottoman times.
