The ‘Naked: Beyond the Social Mask’ exhibition ran until January 17th at Le Yacht Club in Beirut, and it gave young talent the chance to proudly show off their work. The exhibition was curated by ‘House of Today’, a non-profit organization that looks for and nurtures new talent on Lebanon’s design scene. The work of 27 Lebanese was on display, with 3 others from Italy, Germany and France; each interpreting the exhibition’s title theme in their own way. The head of ‘House of Today’ and founder of the exhibition, Cherine Magrabi Tayeb, told Asharq AlAwsat, “I wanted to give young talented Lebanese designers the opportunity to be discovered, because talent needs to be given a hand.”

As well as the talent, world-renowned fashion designer Elie Saab was also in attendance, and he presented three clutches exclusively designed for the fair.
