Zaha Hadid Architects have designed an incredible building, taking inspiration from the natural beauty of sand dunes. The building is to house the headquarters of the Middle Eastern environmental company, Bee’ah, in Sharjah. The 7,000 square metre building will be home to the administrative and public activities of the company, which specializes in waste management. The proposed building will be powered entirely by renewable energy sources, in keeping with the nature of the company. The two largest dune shapes will house the management offices, visitor facilities and administration department. Parts of the building’s structure will be constructed using reclaimed materials sourced from both local construction and demolition waste.

The project is to be a collaboration between Zaha Hadid, engineer Buro Happold and environmental consultant Atelier Ten, in order to minimize the wastage of material and energy consumption.
