Bri­tish Air­ways and Ni­cole Scherzinger Col­lab­o­ra­tion

Lead Pussy­cat Doll, X Fac­tor judge and lover of Müller yo­ghurt, Ni­cole Scherzinger has joined forces with Bri­tish Air­ways to launch the air­line’s latest in­no­va­tion, a vir­tual re­al­ity head­set. Cus­tomers will now be able to ex­pe­ri­ence a high grade, 360 de­gree video of three iconic lo­ca­tions in the US – from rid­ing a buck­ing bronco in Texas to skat­ing along the board­walk on a Cal­i­for­nia beach to ice skat­ing in New York City. Scherzinger said, “as a fre­quent trav­eler this new tech­nol­ogy is su­per ex­cit­ing.” Bri­tish Air­ways’ Re­gional Com­mer­cial Man­ager of the Mid­dle East and Cen­tral Asia, Paolo De Ren­zis said “this is just the start of what could be a huge break­through for fu­ture trav­el­ers. Imag­ine be­ing able to walk around the ho­tel that you are about to book,” be­fore adding, “it’s the ul­ti­mate try be­fore you fly.” The footage for each of the three lo­ca­tions was filmed on site, us­ing six cam­eras on a spe­cially de­signed rig, mean­ing the re­sult is a stun­ning, high qual­ity video ex­pe­ri­ence like no other.
