Wa­ter­front City has proudly an­nounced that 2015 will mark its third con­sec­u­tive year of sup­port for the Build it Green (BIG) fo­rum, or­ga­nized by e-EcoSo­lu­tions at a press con­fer­ence that took place in Wa­ter­front’s sales of­fices at the be­gin­ning of March this year. These two or­ga­ni­za­tions hope to high­light the sig­nif­i­cance of sus­tain­abil­ity and en­vi­ron­men­tally friendly meth­ods, that could mean a much brighter fu­ture for Le­banon. BIG held its 6th an­nual fo­rum at the Monroe Ho­tel in Beirut on March 18th, in or­der to dis­cuss strate­gies as well as how they can move for­ward and utilise cur­rent world­wide trends. The Se­nior De­vel­op­ment Di­rec­tor for Wa­ter­front City, Mr. Samer Bis­sat, said “it is at the core of our val­ues at Wa­ter­front City to en­sure a sus­tain­able city for the gen­er­a­tions to come, we have the po­ten­tial, ca­pa­bil­i­ties, and the ex­pe­ri­ence, and we have a unique op­por­tu­nity to prove that the finest level pos­si­ble of sus­tain­able ur­ban­ism can be car­ried out in Le­banon, and Wa­ter­front City makes a dis­tinc­tive ex­am­ple of the pos­si­bil­ity to de­velop our cities in Le­banon.”
