Ekaruna reviews Beirut Design Week, Men’s World Exhibition, Project Lebanon and Project Qatar
32,000 visitors walked these halls at this prestigious event, amongst them key buyers and industry leaders in the construction sector. This event successfully facilitated networking between visitors and industry professionals namely leading manufacturers and suppliers of construction and building materials, heavy machinery, stone, woodwork, and other construction materials.
WHAT MADE PROJECT QATAR 2015 SPECIAL?
In 2015, the B2B Matchmaking Platform was introduced at Project Qatar with the intention of matching professionals and exhibitors that have a mutual interest in certain products and have a similar work profile. During the event, the show successfully hosted 830 pre-arranged business meetings. By registering online, visitors were able to plan their entire visit and maximise the time spent at the event.
Furthermore, both visitors and exhibitors had access to all features of the show through the recently improved PQ 2015 Mobile Application. The application’s purpose is to provide the following to the visitors and exhibitors: event information, exhibitors list, location and venue map, social media, floor plan, sponsors list, and much more. This only served to enhance the experience significantly.
The event had also a special touch that had never been seen before at Project Qatar, Workshop Series. IFP Qatar LLC collaborated with the Qatar Chamber of Commerce to launch the workshop series that included 8 successful workshops, which educated the attendees about the construction industry. Areas of focus of the workshops were manufacturing investment opportunities in Qatar and workers’ welfare issues that construction companies are facing.
In order to introduce the international exhibitors to the activities of the bustling construction sector in Qatar, IFP Qatar organised presentations and took the exhibitors to visit three mega construction sites around the country: the New Port Project, the Mall of Qatar, and Lusail City.
Project Qatar continues to offer an in-depth insight into Qatar’s construction industry and connect the right people to facilitate business, progress, and working relationships.
