The leading provider of oilfield services across the Middle East, AlMansoori Specialised Engineering, has announced that its plans for expansion are on track, with the appointment of two new people – Riyaz Shaikh, the new country manager for India, and Derek Hood, the new regional operations manager for Target Well Control, based in Aberdeen, UK. With more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Shaikh’s expertise lies within developing long-term business plans and ensuring the accomplishments of marketing objectives and strategic business planning. Mr. Hood, a management graduate with a HNC in mechanical engineering, has more than 30 years of experience in intervention/well services operations, completions, cased hole logging and more. Mr. Nabil Alalawi, the CEO of AlMansoori, commented, “These appointments are part of AlMansoori Specialized Engineering's ongoing strategy for organic growth across the spectrum of oilfield services and new geographies worldwide. Even as we continue to expand our range of services and enter new areas and territories it is important that we maintain our reputation for excellence in service delivery by ensuring that we have the best professional talent at our disposal.”
