The Ajman Palace Ho­tel hosts

The Ajman Palace Ho­tel hosted the Emi­rates Con­ser­va­tion Award for Elec­tricty and Wa­ter Consumption, or­gan­ised un­der the pa­tron­age of His Ex­cel­lency Suheil Al-Mazroui, the Min­is­ter of En­ergy and Chair­man of Board of Direc­tors of the Fed­eral Elec­tricty and Wa­ter Author­ity (FEWA). FEWA hon­oured 18 fam­i­lies for their par­tic­i­pa­tion in the na­tion­wide ra­tio­nal­i­sa­tion award, whereby their consumption was cut by up to 80% dur­ing the first three months of 2015. A num­ber of se­nior of­fi­cials from the gov­ern­ment were in at­ten­dance, and Ferghal Pur­cell, the Gen­eral Man­ager of The Ajman Palace Ho­tel said, “The Emi­rates Con­ser­va­tion Award is a com­mend­able ef­fort made by the Fed­eral Elec­tric­ity and Wa­ter Author­ity to pro­mote con­ser­va­tion of wa­ter and elec­tric­ity, and in­still the val­ues of ra­tio­nal­i­sa­tion in young gen­er­a­tions. This ef­fort should be sup­ported by one and all, as it will play a sig­nif­i­cant role in pre­serv­ing th­ese pre­cious nat­u­ral re­sources for the fu­ture gen­er­a­tions. I am con­fi­dent it will grow fur­ther to be­come one of the mus­tat­tend cam­paigns for ev­ery­one who be­lieves in their civic re­spon­si­bil­i­ties.”
