Land­scape of Fla­vor is co-funded by the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion, the Repub­lic of Bul­garia and by the Na­tional As­so­ci­a­tion of Milky Sheep Breed­ers in Bul­garia (NARMOB). It is a three-year ini­tia­tive tar­get specif­i­cally for the coun­tries of Jor­dan, Kaza­khstan and the United Arab Emi­rates.

Cam­paign ac­tiv­i­ties are or­ga­nized around four main groups of ac­tiv­i­ties, namely In­for­ma­tion, Pro­mo­tion, Ad­ver­tis­ing and Pub­lic Re­la­tion Mea­sures. This pro­gramme will fo­cus on con­sumers and opin­ion mul­ti­pli­ers and is aimed at as­sess­ing an in­crease in the aware­ness and con­sump­tion of high qual­ity Euro­pean sheep prod­ucts, in par­tic­u­lar: White Brined Cheese or, Sirene, a tra­di­tional Bul­gar­ian spe­cialty made of the milk of free reared sheep and goats.

Land­scape of Fla­vor is a Euro­pean Pro­gramme on in­for­ma­tion pro­vi­sion and pro­mo­tion mea­sures for Euro­pean sheep meat and sheep milk cheese prod­ucts.

On the 9th of Oc­to­ber the EU Food qual­ity con­fer­ence took place in Amman Zara con­ven­tion cen­tre in Jor­dan. Mas­ter Chef cooked and served two whole lambs for the in­vited opin­ion lead­ers, traders, HORECA rep­re­sen­ta­tives.

A spe­cially se­lected group of more than 80 peo­ple par­tic­i­pated at the con­fer­ence, each re­ceiv­ing an info-pro­mo­tional project gift set. The aim of the con­fer­ence is to de­velop among the food stake­hold­ers a high qual­ity transna­tional food cul­ture and aware­ness of the Euro­pean qual­ity food prod­ucts in terms of nutri­tional value suit­able in any di­etary regimes and in food safety, guar­an­tee­ing the high­est stan­dard of hy­giene and san­i­tary checks.
