1. There is an in­creased growth of whisky cock­tails, es­pe­cially in Mediter­ranean and Asian mar­kets. Many bars are al­most en­tirely fo­cus­ing on cock­tails.

2. Sin­gle malt Scotch whisky is be­com­ing much more widely used, where in the past there would have been more fo­cus on us­ing blended Scotch whiskies.

3. Amer­i­can bour­bons/whiskies, in ad­di­tion to white spir­its and rums for cock­tails, are also on the rise this sum­mer.
