KA­MAL MOUZAWAK AWARDED GRAND PRIX AIG DE LA CUL­TURE GASTRONOMIQUE 2018

The In­ter­na­tional Academy of Gas­tron­omy - IAG (L’as­sem­blée Générale de l’académie In­ter­na­tionale de la Gas­tronomie - AIG) has awarded Lebanese en­tre­pre­neur Ka­mal Mouzawak the Grand Prix AIG de la Cul­ture Gastronomique 2018. Cre­ated in 1990, the ac­co­lade is awarded to a per­son or en­tity, which could be a city, re­gion, pro­fes­sional school, univer­sity chair or in­ter­na­tional in­sti­tu­tion, for ex­am­ple, that has dis­tin­guished them­selves in the cul­tural field of gas­tron­omy. Mouzawak is the founder of the ‘Tawlet’ restau­rant, which now has five out­lets, and the ‘Souk El Tayeb’ weekly farm­ers’ mar­ket, as well as ‘Beit’, a chain of guest­houses in Le­banon.
