A grad­u­ate of the ar­chi­tec­tural school of the Le­banese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) in 1985, Arpi Man­gas­sar­ian has worked for the Bourj Ham­moud Mu­nic­i­pal­ity since

1993, as the head of the Ar­chi­tec­tural and Ur­ban Depart­ment. She achieved the DESSU de­gree in Ur­ban Plan­ning from the Le­banese Uni­ver­sity in 2001. At­tracted by the lively Ar­me­nian cul­ture, man­i­fested es­pe­cially by crafts and culi­nary her­itage, she es­tab­lished the cul­tural and her­itage house Badguèr, for the cre­ators and

ar­ti­sans of Bourj Ham­moud.
